Knowledge Hub Zealand has been created to support the companies in the Region of Zealand. Our vision is to create a pathbreaking center in Kalundborg, for the development of advanced biotech production, educational programs, and startups.

We also work to enhance the educational profile of the Region of Zealand, by helping to create internships and Master’s thesis projects at local companies, for students from universities across the country.

Mapping your needs

We help you identify which of your company challenges that an internship or Master’s thesis project can help you solve, and we help you identify the relevant educational profiles.

Project proposal

Based on our initial conversations, we help you formulate a project proposal.

Recruitment

Via web services, educational events, and based on our extensive network of educational institutions, we ensure that your project proposal is seen by the right students.

Selection

Based on the applications from students that you receive, you pick the candidates that you would like to work with. If you need it, we can provide you with contracts and standard documents.

Project collaboration

The students work on the company project that you have arranged. Depending on your company needs, the students can be based at your company for a longer or a shorter period.

Follow-up

When the project is complete, Knowledge Hub Zealand helps you do a follow-up on the project work and help you plan new projects for the next semester, if needed.

About us

Knowledge Hub Zealand is an association and a partnership. Represented in the association are the Region of Zealand, Kalundborg Municipality, Novo Nordisk, Novozymes, Roskilde University, University of Southern Denmark, University College Absalon, and the Zealand Institute of Business and Technology.

We are working to build the Knowledge Hub Zealand Center in Kalundborg, which will provide an advanced development center for biotech production, an innovation environment for biotechnology startups, and a training center for biotech manufacturing and process technology.

We also facilitate collaboration on internships and Master’s thesis projects between the country’s universities and companies throughout the Region of Zealand. Our goal is to promote knowledge sharing and innovation by helping students and companies discover each other. By means of this, we aim to a competitive knowledge environment in the area that benefits both students, businesses and citizens in the region.
