Internship with focus on automation of the calibration process in Novo Nordisk, Kalundborg

Job Description / The position
Calibration and automation internship
About the department Diabetes API Metrology & Maintenance is part of Diabetes API Business Support and has overall responsibility for measurement technology, calibration and maintenance of insulin production in Kalundborg. You become part of a department with 24 dedicated employees who set the direction and optimize across, in an organization with more than 2000 employees.

We are responsible for the approx. 1500 reference instruments used every day to perform calibration of measuring equipment. We develop, acquire and qualify the equipment in close cooperation with users and suppliers. We carry out the calibration of measuring equipment and reference instruments ourselves in our calibration laboratories and are responsible for training the employees who use the equipment for calibration in the production.

Qualifications
– Outreaching extrovert, with some computer knowledge.
– Understanding of automation and process optimization.
– Able to present for steering groups and management.

Information about the internship:
– Start from August / September 2019
– Working hours: Flexible (37 hours a week)
– Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
– A Danish full-time work permit is required
– The job ad will be closed, when the post has been filled, no later than: 2019.07.01

The production industry is increasingly automated by the introduction of industrial robots and complex computer controlled systems. Your job is to map and define possibilities for automated calibration in the factories. This will include a lot of involvement from vendors of calibration equipment and across our factories. Many vendors of measuring equipment are focusing on automated calibration, so you have to visit a lot of them and gain knowledge in the new equipment and processes.
