IT & Automation optimization Internship at Diabetes Finished Production in Kalundborg

About the team
You will be a part of Diabetes Finished Production(DFP) in Kalundborg. In DFP Kalundborg we are in the end of the value chain and pack insulin on highly automated production lines, to our customers around the world every day.

The team consists of 18 IT & Automation colleagues who provide daily support to the production, within IT & Automation and process optimization. The main tasks for the team is to support the production, ensure lifecycle management on our IT & Automation equipment and problem solve and improve IT & Automation related processes.

In addition, the team work dedicatedly to ensure improvement and stabilization according to quality, delivery, cost and lead-time.

The Position
We are looking for a talented student with flair for process optimization within IT. You will be involved in a broad variety of tasks and projects across the team. Among multiple tasks you will primarily support our IT support, which key activities is to avoid IT stops on our production lines. We are currently implementing a new tool to support our IT support function and you will be a part of this implementation. You will also be engaged in various data analyses and automation/digitalization tasks.

• Internship Period: The internship is a full-time position for 6 months. 
• Working Hours: For the right candidate we are flexible regarding work hours and internship timing.
• Start Date: 1 February 2020
• A Danish full-time work permit is required.

Qualifications
We are looking for an intern with passion for IT & Automation, manufacturing processes and lean. As a person you possess at drive to work independently, are not afraid to consult colleagues/experts and are able to change track when findings show that it makes sense. You are able to communicate even complex information in easy terms in both Danish and English. Finally, you have a good sense of humor.

You are currently pursuing a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in, IT & Automation, Engineering, or another relevant education and have shown excellent results during your studies. You thrive with analytical tasks and have a sharp eye for details. We expect candidates to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. You work easily with IT applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and see challenges such as technical troubles or knowledge limitations as an opportunity to learn more. Excellent language skills in English and Danish is required.
